Next Online Seminar "Researching scientific bases of biodynamic agriculture" with Dr. Alessandro Piccolo
10 Septembre 2026 at 2 pm CEST
Dear Researchers,

We hope this e-mail finds you all well.

We would like to invite you to save the date for the next online seminar of the Biodynamic Research Network which will take place on 10 September at 2 pm CET.

Our guest speaker will be Alessandro Piccolo, who is a full professor of Agricultural Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II in Italy. In 2020, he founded the Italian Society for Biodynamic Sciences (SISB), comprising professors and researchers from various Italian institutions. Together with his colleagues, he conducts research and experimentation to deepen our understanding of the biochemical and physiological mechanisms that underlie the effectiveness of the biodynamic method. Their aim is to explore the technical characteristics and procedural methods of biodynamic farming and to refine our understanding of soil-plant interactions, with the ultimate goal of establishing a scientific and ecologically systemic foundation for a paradigm shift in agricultural production.

Alessandro Piccolo is the Chief Editor of the journal Chemical and Biological Technologies in Agriculture which features a thematic serie on The scientific bases of biodynamic agriculture.
