Liebe Kunst-Interessierte, liebe Freunde
Die Studenten des zweiten Jahrgangs sind gerade von einer Pilgerreise aus Chartres zurückgekommen. Nun werden sie in den letzten beiden Wochen das Architekturtrimester mit dem Erarbeiten eigener Architekturentwürfe abschliessen. Nach Ostern beginnt dann am 13. April das dritte Trimester zur Malerei. Für Kurzentschlossene besteht die Möglichkeit, sich noch bis zum 6. April für das Sommertrimester MALEREI anzumelden, da es noch freie Plätze gibt.
Im Sommertrimester werden wir anhand der Farbe bearbeiten, wie Wahrnehmung sich in Kunst verwandeln lässt. Dazu brauchen wir eine gesteigerte Aufmerksamkeit auf die kreative und spirituelle Aktivität während der Arbeit mit zweidimensionalen Medien, um ins bildnerische Schaffen einzusteigen. Wir werden mit Tusche, Aquarell, Pflanzenfarben, Pastell, Graphit und Kohle vorwiegend auf Papier arbeiten. Dazu kommen Kunstbetrachtungen im Museum und vor Ort sowie die Lektüre und Diskussion von Texten Rudolf Steiners und verschiedener Künstler.

Gerne möchten die Studierenden des Trimesters ARCHITEKTUR Sie anlässlich des Trimesterabschlusses zur Atelier-Ausstellung ihrer Arbeiten am 26. März um 15 Uhrim Kunstatelier in der Schreinerei am Goetheanum einladen. Sie freuen sich auf Ihr Kommen – das ist auch eine Gelegenheit das Kunststudienjahr und die Räumlichkeiten vor Ort kennenzulernen!
Ausserdem möchten wir Ihnen auch den neuen Jahrgang des Kunststudienjahrs 2026/2027 vorstellen, er ist dem Thema «Die Kunst der Metamorphose» gewidmet und bietet die Möglichkeit, in drei Trimestern intensiver ganztägiger künstlerischer Arbeit Raum, Form und Farbe auch in ihrer seelisch-geistigen Dimension bewusst zu erleben und zu gestalten. Die Unterrichtsprache ist Deutsch und neuerdings auch Englisch. Jedes der drei Trimester kann auch einzeln besucht werden, wobei das Jahr inhaltlich dennoch eine Ganzheit bildet. Das Studienjahr eignet sich besonders als Orientierungszeit für Schulabgänger und ermöglicht in allen Lebenslagen Selbstbegegnung und Neurorientierung in einer lernenden Gemeinschaft.

News from the Art Study Year at the Goetheanum The PAINTING trimester begins on 13 April 2026 – there are still places available! The new term of the Art Study Year begins in October, now also in English. Dear art lovers, dear friends The second-year students have just returned from a study trip to Chartres. Over the next two weeks, they will be wrapping up the architecture term by working on their own architectural designs. After Easter, the third trimester on painting will begin on 13 April. For those who make last-minute decisions, there is still the opportunity to register for the PAINTING summer trimester until 6 April, as there are still places available. During the summer trimester, we will explore, through the medium of colour, how perception can be transformed into art. To this end, we need to focus more intensely on creative and spiritual activity whilst working with two-dimensional media, in order to engage with artistic creation. We will work primarily on paper using ink, watercolour, plant dyes, pastels, graphite and charcoal. This will be complemented by art viewings in museums and on site, as well as the reading and discussion of texts by Rudolf Steiner and various artists. In order to close the Architecture trimester the students would like to invite you to the studio exhibition of their work, which will take place on 26 March at 3 pm in the art studio in the Schreinerei at the Goetheanum. They look forward to seeing you there – this is also an opportunity to get to know the art programme and the on-site facilities! We would also like to introduce you to the new cohort for the 2026/2027 Art Study Year which is dedicated to the theme ‘The Art of Metamorphosis’ and offers the opportunity, over three terms of intensive full-day artistic work, to consciously experience and shape space, form and colour, including their emotional and spiritual dimensions. The language of instruction is German and, more newly, English. Each of the three terms can be attended individually, although the year although the year still forms a coherent whole in terms of content. The Art Study Year is particularly suitable as an orientation period for school leavers and enables self-discovery and reorientation in all circumstances within a learning community.
