It already starts on 3 February
Pre-conference day for professional groups with tasting evening

We meet one day before the conference to work together, learn from one another, and inspire each other. In the morning, we devote ourselves to the topic of a knowledge platform and examine the opportunities and challenges of a shared online platform for advisors, educators, and researchers.

In the afternoon, members of the movement invite participants to various working groups. The topics range from adult education and food tasting to biodynamic herbal studies and the seven life processes, as well as community-supported economy and research topics such as long-term field trials and biodynamic preparations.

Rethinking shared economic activity

In open exchange, we get to know initiatives along the entire value chain – from the farm through processing and trade to community-based local and regional markets. In view of fragmented and often dysfunctional economic structures, the discussion invites us to reconsider the role of community in economic action and to develop perspectives for cooperation, responsibility, and shared value creation.

Connecting the art of healing, the art of education, the art of agriculture, and social art

This panel is dedicated to central questions of human development and social dynamics. We explore how learning, growth, and relationships succeed in communities and how cooperation, resilience, and meaning emerge from them. Together, we consider how these insights can be integrated into the farm as a place of the future – as a space for education, social participation, and sustainable ways of life.

Shaping communities for knowledge and research

This panel discussion understands the biodynamic movement as a global community of knowledge exchange and collaborative research. It highlights the interplay of spiritual-scientific impulses, practical experience, and scientific research – from the beginnings of the Agriculture Course to today’s initiatives. At the same time, it addresses the question of how knowledge arises: through scientific methods as well as through a holistic, perceptive turning toward the living.

Experiencing diverse aspects of community in the workshops
Deepening of knowledge and artistic expression

Are you interested in the role community plays in sustainable, long-term farm management, in the insights Rudolf Steiner’s Agriculture Course offers for working a farm collaboratively, or in how questions of nutrition are fundamentally connected to community? Then sign up for the working groups.

In the three-day morning working groups, the conference theme will be explored in greater depth. The three-day afternoon working groups are open in theme and include artistic or meditative elements. Most working groups are bilingual. Groups are offered in Chinese, German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish. Here are three examples.

How do I run a biodynamic farm economically?

Many farms today face major economic challenges. In this working group, we will look at various approaches to running biodynamic farms in an economically viable way and explore the role that the community plays in this.

The social question from the perspective of the Agriculture Course

The social question within biodynamic agriculture is becoming increasingly urgent, because without a solution, it will be virtually impossible to continue farming in the future. In this working group, we want to examine the social impetus of the Agriculture Course and develop ideas together, because the course can provide valuable answers to pressing questions of the present and the future.

Nutrition, movement, relationships: shaping community in Camphill

Community means entering into relationships – with the environment, with fellow human beings and with oneself. All three elements of relationship are important and need to be nurtured so that community can exist and grow. In addition to table fellowship, our eating habits form the basis for relationships. The working group includes contributions, discussions and practical exercises.

"Zusammenklang"
The diverse layers of community expressed artistically

The eurythmy performance "Zusammenklang" makes community tangible as a multi-layered interplay. In eurythmic movement, different languages, musical styles, and artistic forms of expression meet and enter into a living dialogue. The program explores the synergies of different tonal colors and languages as well as the field of tension between contemporary music and spiritual poetry. The performance by the Goetheanum Eurythmy Ensemble brings together works by composers and poets from different epochs and cultural contexts.

Biodynamic Youth Conference following the Agriculture Conference
8–9 February 2026

We would like to deepen the connections between biodynamic practitioners and people around the world and reflect together on the needs that speak to the hearts and souls of younger generations.

The event is open to everyone – regardless of whether you are engaged in agriculture or not, because nutrition concerns us all. We would like to address the following questions:

● What role do young people play in the face of current social and agricultural challenges?
● Do young people find space to unfold their abilities in the world, to join a meaningful economic activity, and to attain equal rights?
● How can anthroposophy, biodynamics, and social threefolding open up new ways of meeting our life tasks?

In addition, during the Agriculture Conference from 4–7 February, we will provide a space designated as the "Biodynamic Youth Space" to enable exchange with other young people.

Es geht bereits am 3. Februar los
Vorveranstaltungstag für Fachgruppen mit Degustationsabend

Wir treffen uns einen Tag vor der Konferenz, um gemeinsam zu arbeiten, voneinander zu lernen und uns gegenseitig zu inspirieren. Am Vormittag widmen wir uns dem Thema Wissensplattform und beleuchten die Chancen sowie Herausforderungen einer gemeinsamen Online-Plattform für Berater:innen, Ausbilder:innen und Forschende.

Am Nachmittag laden Mitglieder der Bewegung zu verschiedenen Arbeitsgruppen ein. Die Themen reichen von Erwachsenenbildung und Lebensmittelverkostung über biodynamische Kräuterkunde und die sieben Lebensprozesse bis hin zu gemeinschaftlich getragener Wirtschaft sowie Forschungsthemen wie langfristigen Feldstudien und biodynamischen Präparaten.

Gemeinsames Wirtschaften neu denken

Im offenen Austausch lernen wir Initiativen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette kennen – vom Hof über Verarbeitung und Handel bis hin zu gemeinschaftsbasierten lokalen und regionalen Märkten. Angesichts fragmentierter und oft dysfunktionaler Wirtschaftsstrukturen lädt das Gespräch dazu ein, die Rolle von Gemeinschaft im wirtschaftlichen Handeln neu zu betrachten und Perspektiven für Kooperation, Verantwortung und gemeinschaftliches Wertschaffen zu entwickeln.

Dieses Panelgespräch versteht die biodynamische Bewegung als globale Gemeinschaft des Wissensaustauschs und der gemeinsamen Forschung. Es beleuchtet das Zusammenspiel von geisteswissenschaftlichen Impulsen, praktischer Erfahrung und wissenschaftlicher Forschung – von den Anfängen des Landwirtschaftlichen Kurses bis zu heutigen Initiativen. Zugleich geht es der Frage nach, wie Wissen entsteht: durch wissenschaftliche Methoden ebenso wie durch eine ganzheitliche, wahrnehmende Hinwendung zum Lebendigen.

Vielfältige Aspekte der Gemeinschaft in den Workshops erleben
Wissensvertiefung und künstlerischer Ausdruck

Interessiert euch, welche Bedeutung die Gemeinschaft für eine nachhaltig tragfähige Hofbewirtschaftung hat, welche Einsichten Rudolf Steiners Landwirtschaftlicher Kurs zur gemeinschaftlichen Bewirtschaftung eröffnet oder wie Ernährung grundsätzlich mit Gemeinschaft verbunden ist? Dann meldet euch für die Arbeitsgruppen an.

In den dreitägigen Arbeitsgruppen am Vormittag wird das Tagungsthema vertieft. Die dreitägigen Arbeitsgruppen am Nachmittag sind themenoffen und enthalten künstlerische oder meditative Elemente. Die meisten Arbeitsgruppen sind zweisprachig, wobei es Arbeitsgruppen in Chinesisch Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch und Spanisch gibt. Hier folgen drei Beispiele.

‎Wie führe ich einen biodynamischen Hof wirtschaftlich?

Viele Höfe stehen heute vor grossen wirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen. In dieser Arbeitsgruppe widmen wir uns verschiedenen Ansätzen, biodynamische Höfe wirtschaftlich tragfähig zu führen, und erkunden, welche Rolle dabei die Gemeinschaft spielt.

Die soziale Frage mit dem Blick des Landwirtschaftlichen Kurses

Die soziale Frage innerhalb der biodynamischen Landwirtschaft wird zunehmend dringlicher, denn ohne ihre Lösung wird es in Zukunft kaum möglich sein, die Betriebe weiterhin zu bewirtschaften. In dieser Arbeitsgruppe wollen wir die soziale Impulskraft des Landwirtschaftlichen Kurses untersuchen und gemeinsam Ideen entwickeln, denn der Kurs kann wertvolle Antworten auf drängende Fragen der Gegenwart und Zukunft geben.

Ernährung, Bewegung, Beziehung: Gemeinschaft in Camphill gestalten

Gemeinschaft bedeutet, in Beziehung zu gehen – mit der Umgebung, den Mitmenschen und mit sich selbst. Alle drei Beziehungselemente sind wichtig und brauchen Pflege, damit Gemeinschaft bestehen und wachsen kann. Neben der Tischgemeinschaft bilden unsere Ernährungsgewohnheiten die Grundlage für Beziehungen, die wir in der Arbeitsgruppe anhand von Beiträgen, Gesprächen und praktischen Übungen untersuchen werden.

Zusammenklang
Die vielfältigen Schichten von Gemeinschaft künstlerisch ausgedrückt

Die Eurythmieaufführung «Zusammenklang» macht die Gemeinschaft als vielschichtiges Zusammenspiel erfahrbar. In eurythmischer Bewegung begegnen sich unterschiedliche Sprachen, Musikstile und künstlerische Ausdrucksformen und treten in einen lebendigen Dialog. Das Programm erkundet die Synergien verschiedener Klangfarben und Sprachen sowie das Spannungsfeld zwischen zeitgenössischer Musik und Geistlyrik. Die Aufführung des Goetheanum Eurythmie-Ensembles vereint Werke von Komponisten und Dichtern aus unterschiedlichen Epochen und Kulturräumen.

Konferenz der biodynamischen Jugend im Anschluss an die Tagung
8.–9. Februar 2026

Wir möchten die Verbindungen zwischen biodynamischen Praktiker:innen und Menschen auf der ganzen Welt vertiefen und gemeinsam über die Bedürfnisse nachdenken, die die Herzen und Seelen jüngerer Generationen ansprechen.

Der Anlass steht allen offen – egal, ob ihr Landwirtschaft betreibt oder nicht, denn Ernährung betrifft uns alle. Folgenden Fragen wollen wir uns widmen:

● Welche Rolle spielen junge Menschen angesichts der aktuellen sozialen und landwirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen?
● Finden junge Menschen Raum, um ihre Fähigkeiten in der Welt zu entfalten, um sich einer sinnstiftenden wirtschaftlichen Tätigkeit zu widmen oder um gleiche Rechte zu erlangen?
● Wie können Anthroposophie, Biodynamik und soziale Dreigliederung neue Wege eröffnen, um unseren Lebensaufgaben zu begegnen?

Ausserdem stellen wir während der Landwirtschaftlichen Tagung vom 4.–7. Februar einen Raum zur Verfügung, der als «Biodynamic Youth Space» gekennzeichnet ist, um sich mit anderen jungen Menschen auszutauschen.
