Dear Friends,
Our new online course will begin soon. Have you registered
yet? Healthy nutrition and community – more than just a common meal online course with Dr Jasmin Peschke and Lea Sprügel8th and 15th May 2023 from 14 – 16 CEST, UTC +2 Is our health dependent on community? How can we identify our needs to eat more healthily and what is the impact of healthy nutrition on our microbiome? What can we do to create health and foster resilience at different levels?
Food is a community-building factor, whether in the food value chain, in a family, or in a bigger group. In this course you will learn how interest and respect, regard and dignity – no matter in what relationship – lead to sustainable health for yourself, for a community and for the earth. This online course will consist of presentations, discussions and practical exercises. The course will be held in English.

SAVE THE DATE How animals enhance the health and resilience of the land Our responsibility and the diverse roles of animals online course with Alysoun
Bolger, Johannes Wirz and Jean-Michel Florin 4 – 25 September 2023 We will explore the world of animals in their variety, diversity and context. What understanding is needed from human beings so that we can support animals in their natural contribution to the health and diversity of the land? With biodynamic agriculture as a basis, we will spend four weeks in the wonder-filled world of animals, both wild and domesticated, appreciating and recognising the movement and life that they bring to us and the earth.

Milk as a mirror of its environment by Lea Sprügel and Dr Jasmin Peschke
When we drink milk, we consume nutrients and the whole atmosphere in which the milk was produced: the animal health, the farm and the people who care for the cows. If the raw milk is not treated further, its vitality is preserved and can promote our health – provided that the animals are kept in keeping with their nature.

The impact of glyphosate on our microbiome by Maryna Bogdanok and Dr Jasmin PeschkeAs glyphosate is now one of the most frequently detected pesticide residues in food, it is difficult to avoid its intake. It poses a real danger to humanity because it disrupts the gut microbiome – and the connection between gut and brain or will and thoughts. One more reason to produce and eat biodynamic food.

study summary by Lukas Maschek
The role of animal-source foods is repeatedly hotly debated in the discussion over environmentally sound and sustainable agricultural production systems. To clarify the issue, a research team led by Ty Beal has analysed the current research status. The focus of their work is on environmental aspects and nutrition. It quickly becomes apparent that there is no such thing as a uniform solution. A multitude of factors determines the health and ecological effects of animal foods. In the following, some of the study’s key statements are briefly summarised and then placed in
relation to biodynamic agriculture with a focus on the topic of "cow and climate".

Liebe Freund:innen Bald startet unser nächster Online-Kurs. Haben Sie sich schon angemeldet? Healthy nutrition and community – more than just a common mealmit Dr. Jasmin Peschke und Lea Sprügel 8. und 15.

SAVE THE DATEHow animals enhance health and resilienc of the land Our responsibility and the diverse role of animalsMit Alysoun Bolger, Johannes Wirz und
