Dear friends of the Section for the Spiritual Striving of the Youth,
Dr. Sebastian Lorenz, one of the presenters at the upcoming youth conference on digital technology and spirituality, recently said that the best image for our current relationship to technology is of being in a boat on the open sea during a tsunami.
When the water begins to pull away the most important thing to do is to chase the wave, to get on tip of it. The worst thing one can do is run away.
We live in a pivotal and exciting moment, and there is no getting away from it, with this event we to add to the many efforts around the world to meet it with energy and attention.
I am excited to send this small e-newsletter out in advance of the youth conference that is right around the corner. The event has been organized by a team from around the world over the last months. Below you will find contributions and resources from many of the presenters who will be part of the conference.
If you are coming please register before Wednesday, January 17, to help us plan accordingly and get the logistics lined up!
If you cannot come, we are planning to record audio files of much of the event to share some of the work afterwards, not to speak of written pieces.
With a new year greeting from the Goetheanum,
Nathaniel Williams
