Gleichzeitig sind im biodynamischen Erwerbsgemüseanbau Hybridsorten der grossen Saatgutfirmen auf dem Markt sehr präsent. Potentiale biodynamischer Orte in Zeiten globalen Wandels
An der Sektion für Landwirtschaft am Goetheanum ist das neue Forschungsprojekt «Living Farms» gestartet. In dem Projekt werden 15-20 biodynamische Höfe weltweit besucht und erforscht. Durch Kurzvideos, Publikationen und Veranstaltungen werden die Gedanken, Strategien und Handlungsoptionen der unterschiedlichsten biodynamischen Höfe
sichtbar und zugänglich gemacht. Besonderer Fokus des Projektes ist es zu erforschen wie Höfe in Zeiten des globalen Wandels arbeiten, leben und interagieren. Durch die Veröffentlichungen kann die landwirtschaftliche Praxis, Beratung und auch Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten einen Zugang zu dem weltweiten Repertoire an Möglichkeiten biodynamischer Orte bekommen. Dieser Zugang ermöglicht ein gemeinsames Wachsen an den Herausforderungen des globalen Wandels. Der Goetheanum Gartenpark (CH) wurden bereits besucht und das Video ist neu auf der Projektwebseite.

Der Rundbrief der Sektion für Landwirtschaft Der zweimal jährlich erscheinende Rundbrief greift das jeweilige Jahresthema auf und berichtet über die Ergebnisse aus der Arbeit der Sektionsleitung, des Vertreterkreises und der weltweiten biodynamischen Bewegung. Die Artikel versuchen die Themen in einer gewissen Tiefe darzustellen und basieren öfters auf Grundkenntnissen der Anthroposphie. Interessenten erhalten den Rundbrief auf Anfrage zugeschickt. Conference "Biodynamic agriculture and hybrid varieties"19-21 March 2020, at the Goetheanum, Dornach, SwitzerlandWe face a dilemma. As a biodynamic community we want to grow open-pollinated varieties that we have bred ourselves and this is what we communicate. At the same time, in commercial biodynamic vegetable growing hybrid varieties from the big seed companies have a strong presence on the market. The alternatives up until
now, traditionally bred varieties, are steadily disappearing from the market and are mostly being replaced by hybrid varieties instead of by biodynamically bred varieties.

Potential of Biodynamic Places to Grow beyond Global Change
The new research project "Living Farms" has started at the Section for Agriculture at the Goetheanum. The project visits and explores 15-20 biodynamic farms worldwide. Through short videos,
publications and events, the thoughts, strategies and options for actions of the various biodynamic farms are made visible and accessible. A particular focus of the project is to research how farms work, live and interact in times of global change. Through the publications, diverse actors from agricultural practice, advisory services and consumers can gain access to the comprehensive repertoire of biodynamic places. This access enables us to grow beyond the challenges of global change.
The Goetheanum Gartenpark (CH) has already been visited, and the video is now available on the project website.

Circular, published twice yearly, deals with the current theme of the year and reports on the results of the work carried out by the leaders of the Section, the Circle of Representatives and the worldwide Biodynamic movement. The articles aim to present the themes in more detail and are often based on fundamental anthroposophical ideas. The Circular can be sent to anyone interested.
