Alma Humana! Contributions to Human Dignity 27 - 31 July, Goetheanum

We are delighted to announce that there are two new wonderful additions to our Alma Humana 2022 conference, which will take place at the Goetheanum from the 27 to the 31 of July this year.

In addition to the contributions of Giovanni Maio & Stefano Gasperi on Saturday 30th of July on Medicine & Ethics, Peter Selg will give a contribution in the afternoon on "The Dignity of the Body", which will be followed by a panel discussion with the three doctors.

On Friday the 29th of June, an eclectic group of artists will bring us an evening of the performance titled "The Fire of Hope", which invites participants to join the artists in folk singing, poetry and dancing.

Applications are open to study at the Goetheanum! Full-time and part-time courses | Apply until August 31

The study programs at the Goetheanum are for people who are looking for an understanding of Rudolf Steiner’s work and how anthroposophy relates to different fields. The study takes place in an international environment and combines study lessons, artistic practice and field trips to enable an integral learning experience.

"QUESTIONS OF COURAGE" July 18-28, 2022 in Detroit

Questions of Courage: HEARTH is an intentional youth gathering this summer in Detroit, July 18th-28th. This gathering is meant for anyone ages 18ish to 35ish who is interested in exploring transformative social and spiritual questions. We’re expecting about 30 to 40 young adults to attend, mostly from around North America. There is a hostel option and a camping option.

Frage! Begegne! Spiele! (Question! Encounter! Play!) 2022 Save the date 10 - 16 October, Goetheanum

You are invited to participate in a week-long experience where you will meet young people coming from different places around the world. Together you will work on an original theatre piece that you will create with the project facilitators, including the music, scenery and acting. We will work in the Goetheanum's natural surroundings, and live together at the Pfadiheim house for young people.
There we will rehearse, play games and share meals with each other!

SUPPORT OUR WORK!
In 1924 Rudolf Steiner made a call to the youth of his time with the words ‘stick together with an iron will’. This was in order to overcome the great differences in perspectives and because, in Steiner’s words, “Sticking together is what is most necessary if we hope to accomplish anything today with regards to life’s great issues. […] Eventually, you may realise that the greatest of your youth was knowing how to stay together." (Steiner, R. in "Youth & the Etheric Heart" CW 217a)

In this spirit, we would like to make an appeal to our members and friends to support young people to come together despite these difficult times we live in. We would be very grateful for your support and will to help young people find their way to the Goetheanum!
