In the last months, several Youth Section groups have started creating issues celebrating the literary and creative impulses of their members. In the North America, the print magazine, " Futuring Now " features articles and art from the continent. Recently, members of the Youth Section in Germany have begun creating a seasonal " MAGAZIN " which corresponds with festivals of the year. At the Goetheanum, a team has published its first biannual, in person and online edition of " The Thinking Heart ," featuring pieces from each continent and in different languages.

The carriers of these various initiatives are happy to work in partnership to highlight various elements of Youth Section activity and show how it is manifested in different environments.

After a long fundraising process, the Global Access and Project Fund initiative has now raised approximately 9,000 CHF to support the initiatives of young people around the world.

By the end of October, the coordination team received 17 interesting grant applications for consideration in a collaborative fund-gifting process. From these, four applications were selected that best align with the goals of the Project Fund and are feasible to support with the limited resources available.

At the upcoming Coworkers’ Gathering, which will take place in Dornach from January 2–6, a coordination group composed of members of the Project Fund organizing team and representatives of the four nominated projects will decide how to distribute the funds through a collaborative and supportive process. We are very much looking forward to these days.

This process is experimental, intended to explore new forms of financial and technical cooperation between youth circles for the future.

In our effort to strengthen our worldwide awareness, we gather online for quarterly meetings with Youth Section co-workers around the world. The carrying team is comprised of Ani in Georgia, Clara in Brazil, Iona in the USA, and Katrina in Switzerland.

This August, over the course of five sun-shining days, more than 150 young people gathered from all over the world to attend an Anthroposophical Global Youth Section Conference. Those who felt inspired to bring the conference into being for the past year have explored themes of using community and craft to cultivate the environment to hold life's questions among today’s youth. The conference was titled "The Light Between," and attempted to illuminate spaces for growth and collaboration that live between each of us and those who share different perspectives. Thankfully, the desire to explore this space was well received amongst today’s young people, as the conference managed to draw the largest attendance of a US Youth Section gathering since the 90’s.

Attending the Youth Initiative Africa conference in Vikindu was a powerful and unforgettable experience. What stood out most to me was the deep connection between people from different countries and cultures, all united by a shared purpose. I learned so much not just from the sessions, but from the stories, dances, and conversations we shared. Facilitating group activities was also a highlight for me, as it gave me a chance to offer something meaningful. I also found that anthroposophy can enable people to see things in a different, more positive way. This gave me strength and motivation to continue sharing and navigating Anthroposophy with the younger generation. I’m leaving with renewed energy, hope, and a deeper sense of purpose.

My experience at the Gift of Africa Conference was truly transformative — a moment where learning, culture, and connection came together in a way that touched my heart. From the shared laughter while setting up tents to the music, storytelling, and moments of reflection, everything carried a spirit of unity and purpose. What impacted me most was the deep sense of belonging; people from different backgrounds came together like one family, showing how much strength and hope exist within Africa’s youth. The reflective discussions, especially those about identity and meaning, pushed me to think deeply about who I am and what kind of change I want to bring to my community. I’m taking away not only beautiful memories and friendships, but also a stronger sense of purpose — to nurture cultural pride, teamwork, and creativity wherever I go. What I enjoyed most was the openness, the laughter, and the feeling of freedom to simply be myself among others who shared the same hope for our continent’s future.

Reflections on "Beyond Woke & Anti-Woke: What Does Anthroposophy Have to Offer?" hosted October 12th-14th at The Brightmoor Maker Space in Detroit, Michigan. Our theme was the depolarization of the Anthroposophical Movement. The gathering’s diversity of ages, localities, genders, backgrounds, and ethnicities provided fertile ground for approaching the complexity of social issues. 
We wove warmth and understanding into the hardened constellations of the Anthroposophical Movement. Besides hosting youth conferences, the Youth Section is a vessel out of which future bearing conversations can more freely take place.

At the end of October, some enthusiastic members of the Youth Section in North Carolina (in the South East of the USA) organized a conference for about 25 young people. The theme was Shared Visions and we brought in two mentors, Louisa Barnum and Timothy Kennedy, to facilitate daily workshops involving inner work, learning about associative economics, and outer action through hands-on projects like farming and construction. It was a very meaningful week together, and it was a real beginning for a whole new wave of activity to pass through this area.

Im Rahmen der Jugendtagung wollen wir uns diesen Fragen durch Begegnung, gemeinsame Textarbeit, Bewegung, Impulsvortrag, begleitete Gespräche und Austausch widmen.

The next Coworkers’ Gathering will take place this winter at the Goetheanum. We look forward to welcoming carriers of the Youth Section impulse from around the world to exchange experiences, strengthen our shared purpose, and explore the connections that unite our work.

This spring, young artists and singers will tour the Greater Basel area sharing their unique "light instruments" and their workshops and performances that examine how we connect with screen culture.

During this conference, 600-800 16 to 20-year-olds from around the world come together for five days, to engage with some of the big questions of our time. We believe that, now more than ever, we need deeper connection - first with ourselves and then with others. This is why the conference will explore this theme in many ways, helping us discover and strengthen  the threads that hold us together .

The intention of this gathering is to open a doorway through which star wisdom can enter our shared understanding.

Our vision is to frame agreement structures between human beings and the sources of spiritual traditions such that life can be meaningful again. In doing so, South Africa can re-member its task as host of the New Mysteries, restoring humanity’s trust for our future.

The Youth House, located in Chestnut Ridge, NY, is a new initiative of the Threefold Educational Foundation aimed renewing Anthroposophy into a meaningful, legible, and practical movement for today.

The Youth House hosts three collkey initiatives: a Colab Residency Program, the Intro to Anthroposophy Course, and ongoing activities for young adults.

The Collab Residency Program offers a full-time, co-research experience for young adults based in Study, Initiative, and Service.
