(Re)Search:
The Spiritual Striving of Youth - Shaping our Reality

COLLOQUIUM & DEBATE
7th - 8th December
(Saturday 09:30am - 16:00 and Sunday 09:30 - 12:30)
Goetheanum, Dornach - CH

Ticket price: On donation
Registration: mail@youthsection.org
For the past two years, the Youth Section's research team has collected testimonies, visions and ideas from youth around the world. As a project by the Youth Section at the Goetheanum - School of Spiritual Science, the research project is grounded in anthroposophical knowledge of the human being and the world. This means that the Youth Section’s researchers constantly strive to deepen understanding of human life in the present time, a reality which is in a state of becoming.

Through its methodologies, (Re)Search encourages all its participants – from researchers, to interviewees and readers – to live in process, in questioning, in the constant renewal of knowledge and understanding. The study does not aim to produce finite answers, but to access deeper layers of knowledge and understanding with each new phase of research.
About the Colloquium

After publishing some initial insights from the first phases of study, the team will present new questions and findings from the second phase of research. We invite you to participate in a presentation of new results and take part in our focus groups and debates on themes such as education, relationships, spirituality, ethics and morality, agency and autonomy and our generation's impact in the world.

Everybody of all ages is welcome to attend the colloquium and bring their questions with them. We also welcome other people interested in initiating their own research projects! If you would like to hear about a specific theme/insight, you can contact the team in advance to help us tailor the content to your project, organisation or ideas.

Any questions and registration:
mail@youthsection.org

About the programme

On Saturday 7th of December, the research team will present new insights, which will be followed by a question and answer session with participants. On Sunday 8th of December, we would like to invite participants to debate and research with us our hypotheses and debate some of the statements collected from the interviews.

A full weekend programme will be released closer to the date.

Participants are welcome to stay at the YS house in Dornach. Email house@youthsection.org to book your space.

Breaks will be offered during the colloquium. Lunches and dinners will not be provided but attendees are welcome to use our kitchen in the Youth Section House on donations.

Monthly Virtual Gathering

INSIGHT OPEN MIC
WITH JOHANNES KRONENBERG

2nd November at 10:30 EST
Online via Zoom Link
The Youth Section Insight Open Mic will be a monthly virtual gatheringa learning community platform for us to cultivate and share individual lines of inquiry with supportive peers. We’ll hear from one friend each month followed by conversation and questions.

Whatever the inspiration- a previous Open Mic, something you’re working on or have been wanting to learn more about, an impression from a section meeting or gathering, a story... Share, listen, and find support to deepen your own independent study.

It’s a brand new attempt for us in the Youth Section to foster international connections, support one another’s self-education, and explore different research methods. There is no expertise requirements and no level of experience should keep you away! We will be experimenting together!

Johannes Kronenberg from the Youth Section in Switzerland will kick us off on November 2nd at 10:30 EST with a small presentation on his own research into the current ecological crisis and what it could mean for humanity on a deeper level. This will include some thoughts on his approach to crafting a line of research inquiry. [live zoom link]
